Design of Crystal-less Transceiver

Project outside the university

Holst Center
Crystal oscillators become one of the most critical component in wireless communication. However, it limits the size and cost reduction of the overall wireless module. Many applications, e.g., capsule endoscopy, need a complete integration for small-size and cost-efficiency RF transceiver, which cannot afford to employ an bulky external crystal. To realize a miniaturized and low-cost transceiver, the crystal-less transceiver design will be investigated in this project. This project will be carried out at Holst Center in Eindhoven.
