MSc Yaren Bathaei

In 2017, I completed my bachelor’s degree in chemistry at Istanbul Technical University, Istanbul, Turkey where I worked on the development of chemosensors for the detection of nitroaromatic explosives. In 2023, I completed my master’s degree in biomedical sciences & engineering at Koç University, Istanbul, Turkey where I worked on the microfabrication strategies for the patterning of biodegradable substrates that can be used in biomedical applications. On 1^st of November, I joined ECTM group, and I will be working on the fabrication of biodegradable electrodes for 3D printed living materials. I love swimming, I enjoy doing puzzles, and I am very honored and excited to be a part of ECTM group as a PhD researcher.
