High-performance current/voltage sensing for dynamic load (CVS)

Themes: Analog and power integrated circuit design (APIC)

Dynamic-load current and voltage sensing are important in many applications such as power converters, inverters, and audio amplifiers for feedback control, ZCS/ZVS, load current monitoring, and over-current/voltage protection. Unlike sensing a DC current/voltage, dynamic-load current/voltage sensing aims to capture the signal information in a dynamic switching environment, which often requires very high CMRR at high frequencies up to MHz, far beyond the capability of most state-of-the-art precision current/voltage sensing amplifiers. In this project, we aim to propose innovative current/voltage-sensing solutions to meet the challenges.
